Cibus
(Ceglie Messapica)
Cosy and authentic restaurant in even more cosy town.

Nina Trulli Resort
(Monopoli)
This place is truly magical. Amazing food with many homegrown ingredients.

Typical food
Orecchiette
Taralli
Pansotti
Caciocavallo
Focaccia
Ristorante Torre di Angelucco
(Martina Franca)

Villanova itself is not very exciting, but this is one of our favourite food spots. Soph’s favourite: Polpette di pesce! (small fish balls). Dominik’s favourite: Red prawn or tuna sandwich. All fresh from the sea. Plus points: Aperol Spritz is top and it’s right on the way to Brindisi airport.

Spritz e Polpette
(Polignano a mare)
When you visit Polignano a mare -> The polpette are not as good as the ones at SORSI. But, as the name already says, they offer every kind of spritz you can imagine.

Probably a must do for every tourist, fascinating trulli architecture but frankly, that’s about it. Or as Soph once said: “I hate this place”
Coccaro Beach Club
https://www.coccarobeachclub.it/
Small bay, very private with amazing food and super friendly staff. Bit on the fancy side but surely worth a visit
Guna Beach Club
http://www.gunabeach.com/
Easy going, great food (the lobster pasta was a 12/10)
Matera (James Bond village)
We’ve never actually made it here but it looks beautiful. The last James Bond was filmed here
Ostuni (White town)
Beautiful town also known as the Città Bianca. Small alleys with many bars and restaurants. Has a bit of a Greek touch with all the white houses, but Italian style. Attention: There are very dangerous cat gangs here.
Polignano a mare (Bay, cliffs, small old town)
Very famous for the cliffs and the bay with crystal clear water. Also has a cute little old town decorated with lyrics of popular Italian songs which light up in the evening.

Travel arrangements
Airports: Bari (1 hour drive) or Brindisi (40 min. drive)
We recommend getting a rental car as public transport in Puglia is not a thing and that way you can explore the region best.
Dresscode
Both for Friday evening (Welcome Party) and for the ceremony on Saturday, the dress code is Summer chic. If you need more guidance or have any questions, please let us know.

Celebrating our wedding with you is the greatest gift. If you wish to do more, we are happy about a contribution to our honeymoon.

Please RSVP until December 31, 2022
